Platinum Polished

The full mechanical polish. The slab is cut through a run of progressively finer diamonds until the concrete itself carries the shine, not a coating sitting on top of it. You choose how much stone shows, from a subtle cream cut to full exposure.

Grind & Seal

A lighter cut to open the surface and expose the stone, then a sealer over the top to lock it in and bring up the colour. Faster and easier on the budget than a full polish, and it suits the areas that cop weather and wheels.

Glue & Tile Removal

Old tiles, vinyl, carpet glue and failed coatings taken off and ground back to clean concrete. This is where most renovations start, and doing it properly is the difference between a floor that looks new and one that telegraphs every old adhesive line.

Epoxy Floor

A hard-wearing coating built up over a slab that has been properly prepared first. Chemical resistant, easy to sweep and mop, and the usual answer for a shed, garage or workshop that has to put up with tools, tyres and spills.

Anti Slip Flooring

Some floors should not be glossy. Pool surrounds, entries, laundries and ramps get a finish with grip built into it, so the surface still looks considered but nobody goes over on it the first wet morning.

How long will my floor take?

It depends on the size of the area, what has to come off first and which finish you have chosen. A straightforward grind and seal moves quickly. A full polish over a slab that needs tiles and glue removed takes longer. Kyle gives you a realistic run at quote time rather than a hopeful one.

How much mess does grinding make?

Concrete grinding is dusty work, so it is done with dust extraction running and the area sectioned off. It is not a no-dust job and nobody honest will tell you it is, but it is controlled and the space is left clean.

Can I choose how much stone shows?

Within reason, yes. How deep the cut goes decides whether you get a subtle cream finish, a salt and pepper look, or full aggregate exposure. What is actually in your slab sets the ceiling, so bring it up early and Kyle will tell you what is realistic.

Do you do sheds and garages as well as houses?

Yes. Sheds, garages and workshops are a big part of it, usually as grind and seal or an epoxy coating rather than a full polish, because those floors are asked to do a different job.
